Mr Richardson is in exploration, mining and production in public and private companies, and over 30 years of international business experience, with a particular focus on China. He has raised over $170 million of investment in mining projects. He is fluent in Mandarin and has 10 years experience in the public sector having worked as an Australian Trade Commissioner in the Australian Embassy in Beijing, with responsibility for the resources portfolio, and Trade Development Director, Australian Commerce & Industry Office Taipei, Taiwan. In 2006 and 2007 Mr Richardson worked for the Government of Western Australia as Manager China, Department of Industry and Resources developing business and political relationships with China.
